Delta and Tenet are indoor/outdoor upholsteries that exemplify the design studio’s commitment to reduced environmental impact. Window coverings Calyx and Kite offer subtle texture and dimension. The Conversation, Sarah Morris’ latest contribution to Maharam Digital Projects, conveys the motion of ongoing dialogue through color and form.
Indoor/outdoor upholsteries Delta and Tenet are woven at a vertical resource in Turkey from entirely recycled content and use yarns that are dyed through a waterless method to further minimize impact.
A basketweave with a subtle check, Delta offers a graphic look in an expansive and expressive palette.
A subtly striated solid, Tenet’s heathered yarns and canvas-like hand offer the look and feel of natural materials.
The Conversation is Sarah Morris’ fourth contribution to Maharam Digital Projects. Originating in a continuous dialogue with German filmmaker and writer Alexander Kluge, its composition features lines and planes of crystalline color that converge and expand in an abstract diagram of exchange.
In a collaboration spanning over fifteen years, Morris and Maharam have translated the artist's unique language to new mediums, reinterpreting her large-scale, graphic paintings in woven textiles Agency and A Band Apart, and Maharam Digital Projects Taurus and Midtown.
